What is a Buddhafield Retreat like?
Buddhafield retreats take place under canvas and vast open skies, in gorgeous fields and woodlands. This event is held on our land near Throwleigh in the Dartmoor National Park. A river runs through the middle of the site and it is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.
On the retreat we will live together as a temporary community. The days will be structured to facilitate this - we will come together as a community to meditate, to learn about Buddhism, communicate with each other, to work and to share meals.
Your time on the retreat will be facilitated by experienced teachers and support team. We provide three delicious, vegan meals per day as well as hot drinks and hot water and showers.
You do not need to be a Buddhist to take part in this retreat or benefit from the teachings and practices we will offer.
