Site Crew

3rd July to 27th July

In July, the Buddhafield Festival site crew gathers to prepare for the event. We set up tents and plumbing, meditate together, create an off-grid power supply, play games, and maintain the site. We live together and begin to create the atmosphere for which Buddhafield is known and loved.

There is a mix of physical and gentler work, opportunities to learn new skills, fireside singing and sitting, group check-ins, and daily meditation. The team comes together to raise the infrastructure of the festival and build a community.

** We ask you not to underestimate the physically taxing nature of the site crew role - see the section below for further information.**

We invite people to live on-site from 3rd July to 27th July in your vehicle, tent, or under your tarp. We ask everyone to bring their energy, willingness, physical labour, skills, and ideas.

In exchange, we offer…

  • Your ticket to Buddhafield Festival – 17th – 21st July
  • Three vegan meals a day for the whole time you are on site.
  • Hot drinks and snacks throughout the day during the setup and tat-down. Hot drinks throughout the event.
  • Meditation teaching and Dharma input, if you'd like it.
  • An experience of living in a close-knit community on the land.

Site crew applications may be open until 30th April 2024, and we will not process applications until after this date, so please wait to hear from us until at least a couple of weeks from then before getting in touch. We will not be able to advise on the status of your application until then.

If we get a large number of applications, we may close early, so please apply as soon as you can.
