Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Yoga area and being part of the Sangha at Buddhafield Festival. Please complete the below application as thoroughly as possible, we have a limited number of places on our team and schedule and are looking for a diverse array of yoga practitioners, classes/workshops, the makeup of which changes from year to year. With this in mind, we would suggest you consider also applying to be part of another Buddhafield area, which can be found on the ‘join us’ page.
The role of a yoga team member is to share wisdom from their practice with festival participants over four 1-1.5 hr classes/workshops and play a creative part in the yoga area, space, and community, as part of the wider Buddhafield Sangha. This would include ‘housekeeping’ before and after each class/workshop, ensuring the space is clear and tidy for the following class and being available to talk to participants to address anything arising from their session.
We would like you to make a commitment to attend each daily, hour long, check-in/team meeting. This is an opportunity for us to come together as a team in support of one another, with a focus on the teachings of the Dharma and the festival’s theme, ‘Uncovering The Jewel’. Some of the time will be given to the practicalities of the Yoga Area and scheduled classes, (‘housekeeping). There will also be the provision for smaller support groups and one to ones if needed.

The invitation would be there for you to camp with the yoga team and arrive on site as early as possible, see dates below, and be involved in setting up the yoga area and spaces .
