The Triratna system of practice through the lens of the archetypes to hold us through the darker time of the year...
A 4-week meditation course followed by a group practice week.
This course, led by Amaragita, is for people who want support and guidance to increase the use of the imagination in their practice and find ways for meditation to permeate everyday life.
We will use the archetypes of Warrior Lover, Magician, Sovereign and Fool as they map well across the Triratna system of practice.
We will have an evening session every week for four weeks, exploring the concepts and discussing them. This will be followed by a week of morning and evening sits to bring everything together in the fullness of meditation. It is suggested that you ensure you can attend all the weekly evening sessions. You can attend as often or as little as possible during the practice week.
90-minute Zoom call per week - talk, meditations and group discussion followed by aa practice week with morning and evening sits which will draw on the previous weeks teachings.
We have two options:
£35 deposit and then by donation (suggested additional dana for those who want a guideline - £45/65/85 - unwaged/low waged/ high waged)
OR
Pay in full upfront
Standard:£100, Supported:£80, Donation tier (helping others to come on retreat):£120
On booking, you will get a confirmation email. The Zoom link and other info will be sent by email closer to the start date.
Please check your spam folder if you have not received anything by the morning of the course start date.
Some email clients (especially Gmail) filter emails to other folders for you - do a search in your inbox for 'Buddhafield' if you cannot find any communication from us.

Day-to-day, Amaragita is a trainer and facilitator and teaches coaching and communication skills. She is also currently the Chair of Buddhafield - a charity committed to land-based Buddhist practices and ecological renewal.
"I’m getting a lot from feeling the love of all the people over the millennia who have passed down these teachings. That these teachings were and continue to be given with love and with the purpose of cultivating love and reducing suffering. A real flow of goodness in the universe. Expansiveness and opening out happens. Thanks Amaragita."
"Really enjoyed yesterday’s meditation - something I noted was when you added a reflection about what part of our day or activity in our day do we want to bring metta too - I suddenly got a rush of pretty much everything in my life I could bring metta too, almost seeing a dire lack of metta anywhere in any aspect of my life! Although meditating with friends on a morning feels like a really lovely stepping stone to this xxx"
".....still reflecting and enjoying finding kinship with fellow earth dwellers - a real sense of wanting to be a friend with everyone - and very much enjoying seeing neutral as rest and calm and ease, the bodily feeling is similar to a gentle breeze. I’ve found them very nourishing, helping me to hold some difficult stuff with love this week. Xxx"
