Production Office

The production office is a public facing resource situated next to the ticket office at the main gate at the festival.

We support other aspects of the festival, in particular supporting the ticket office (whose main role is checking off crew and ticket holders and issuing wristbands.)

Over issues ‘arriving’ at gate area are often handled by the production office, these include:

  • Receiving and recording deliveries, and notifying the festival area that the delivery has arrived, arranging drop off if appropriate.
  • Directing larger deliveries to agreed drop off points in the festival area and issuing delivery passes.
  • Liaising with traders arriving on site and directing them to the trader team in the arena
  • Liaising with guests, workshop leaders, performers, healers and others , contacting the area contact to insure they are directed to correct area.
  • Liaising with accessibility team in case of questions and requirements of people with accessibility needs arriving on site.
  • Liaising with minibus drivers for shuttle buses, storing minibus keys directing people to drop off/pick up points
  • Responding to volunteers arriving on site to direct them to their teams
  • Being a general point of contact and information and sign-posting to info point etc.
  • Being 1st point of contact for ‘official’ visitors, eg council officers, police etc.

NB all vehicle movements directed by production team are to be done in liaison with traffic management stewards.
