Mental Wellbeing Considerations - Having mental health challenges does not exclude you from being on retreat. It is very helpful for us to be aware of any mental health issues because any such issues can be heightened by being on retreat. In particular, meditation retreats can exacerbate some mental health conditions. It is up to you if you disclose information. We consider any disclosure to be the start of a conversation about how we can best support you and if the retreat you have booked is suitable for you. We will be walking and meditating together on a Buddhist-inspired pilgrimage to Glastonbury Tor through the ancient sacred landscape of Britain. We will be following a new route with the starting point to be announced.

The Buddha's followers were 'Yatrikas' or wanderers; we will be evoking the way of life of the very earliest Buddhists. We'll be aligning ourselves with the most ancient traditions of Buddhism as well as following the ancient trackways of Britain, at a very beautiful time of year

In a change to the usual timings, the Yatra will be one day longer and will conclude on the morning of Saturday 10th May with an interfaith 'Pilgrims Welcome Ceremony' led by Lokabandhu in his capacity as Mayor of Glastonbury.
