Thank you for your interest in working at this year’s Buddhafield Festival in our beautiful Healing Garden. Our theme for 2025 is Uncovering the Jewel.
The Healing Garden offers complementary therapies focussing on one-to-one bodywork and practices which are in accordance with dharmic principles. We aim to provide as much variety as possible, so some therapies will have a limited capacity.
Buddhafield Festival will run from Wednesday 16th July to Sunday 20th July 2025. If you would like to apply to join the Healing Garden as a therapist we ask that you agree to the following:
- Monday 14th July - arrive and set up your structure.
- Wednesday 16th July - attend the Healing Garden midday meeting.
- Sunday 20th July - attend the 6pm Garden Party (finish treatments by 5.30pm.)
- Monday 21st July - pack up, love and leave.
We are collectively a healing mandala community. Please consider the value of this when making your decision to join us.

Donations to Buddhafield
Buddhafield is a charity (Triratna Buddhafield, UK registered charity No. 1108826).
The HealingGarden has always run on a dana/donation basis and makes a significant donation to Buddhafield. Because of this, the healers receive a complimentary ticket and vehicle pass despite all other areas of the festival having restricted ticket allocations. This is a wonderful opportunity and means we can continue to have our beautiful HealingGarden generating generosity from an ever-positive heart chakra.
Donations for Treatments
We do not run a clinic-style booking system, the healers choose how they wish to work, taking their own bookings and payments. Please come prepared! You need to be willing to work for our suggested Dana/donation rate of £10/15 minutes of treatment (£40/hour). Please consider this before applying.
Many people coming to the festival are working for support within Buddhist Right Livelihood organisations, so most may not be able to afford treatments in any other place. Some may be unable to afford the suggested Dana rate; please be prepared to share what you can and discuss with your clients accordingly. Dana comes from a generous heart.
At the end of the festival, manth and the team will ask all healers for a donation on behalf of Buddhafield. We suggest that every therapist contributes a minimum of £200 - £275.
- £200 covers the cost of your ticket
- £35/£75 covers your car/live-in vehicle
Donations above this are also warmly received : )
Your Space
Bring your own workspace, yurt, geodesic dome, bell or frame tent, etc, and decorate with enchanting organic style and festival charm. There will not be a communal work space this year. Please bring plenty of plants to decorate our HealingGarden.
The HealingGarden colours are Medicine Buddha Blue (the colour of Lapis Lazuli) and White (the colour containing all others and a symbol of purity). Flower tubs and baskets are lovely. Prayer flags a plenty…
Important Notes
- If you need assistance setting up your space, please arrange this before arrival. Anyone helping you will need their own festival ticket to access the festival site. We will need to know their names, so that the gate crew can let them in early.
- WIFI and electrical power sources are not available in the HealingGarden.
- Gazebos are not permitted in the HealingGarden as they are a potential hazard in heavy wind or rain.
- Due to Health & Safety Regulations and to preserve the beauty of our area, vehicles are not permitted to park/live in the HealingGarden area. Nor is it possible to work from a vehicle.
- Due to weather conditions, it may not be possible to unload/load your vehicle in the healing area. There will be a system in place enabling you and all your belongings to arrive in the HealingGarden - this usually involves a wheelbarrow.
Workshop Space
The HealingGarden workshop space is primarily for the Healers who are offering one-to-one sessions. If you wish to offer an activity please include your topic or theme in your application being mindful to consider the location. Any loud or disruptive workshops, however wonderful, will need an alternative space. Follow the appropriate link from the main Buddhafield website.
Remember, the more dharmic, varied, positive, and creatively enticing your offerings are, the more likely you are to be prioritised... bringing lots of small trees and big herbs always wins our hearts.
Warm wishes for good health, happiness, and sunshine!
