The Enviro-Mental Crew

Each year, we assemble a team of Creative Enviro-Mentalists who come together to participate in an enhanced Buddhafield experience with a focus on community and team cooperation.
Buddhafield is proud to be a drug and alcohol-free festival. A fun-damental element of the Enviro-Mental journey is to explore the natural highs experienced through teamwork, comradeship, art, dance and music. Join us for connection, reflection and the growth of your most authentic self.
We ask you to come for ten days and enjoy the deep connections made from the long days together in the field. We highly recommend you give yourself the time to become fully immersed in the life-changing event that is Buddhafield festival.
Our activities
We offer you a journey of creative play and focused teamwork. Our objective is to have as much fun as possible while working together to take care of the earth, mind, body and spirit.
Our home for the festival is The Enviro-Mental Temple, our community, art, music and workshop space. We invite DJs, Singers, Musicians, Artists, Dancers, Entertainers and Fire breathers to join us.
The Temple is beautifully decorated with a fully equipped stage and sound system. During the day we support members of the crew wanting to lead workshops sharing their passions and knowledge. Late afternoon is when we open as a music venue offering our DJs, singers and musicians the opportunity to perform to the festival crowd. After dark we enjoy fire shows and a late night cinema.
Alongside the Temple the Enviro-Mental crew come together each day to work as a team on a mission to collect Buddhafield's Recycling. This is our opportunity to explore community cooperation, working together with a shared common purpose. We visit all corners of the festival site engaging with the wider Buddhafield community of traders and crew.
During the setup we decorate The Enviro-Mental Temple and build our glamorous Recycling Stations. Sign painting, furniture construction, stage building, lighting and sound equipment are some of our core activities.

Our Schedule
We all arrive in the afternoon on Sunday, 13th of July. We build our camp in the heart of the festival where we live together as a community.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the days we build our Recycle stations and Enviro-Mental Temple. It is our opportunity to be creatively engaged in the formation of the Buddhafield Festival site.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the festival days. Everyone is asked to contribute around 4 hours a day, split between various morning and afternoon activities. Our mission is to swiftly collect the festival recycling and host the activities in The Enviro-Mental Temple.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday following the event are the days we celebrate our friendships while we complete our mission of sorting the recycling, tidying up and packing the Enviro-Mental Temple away.
We say our goodbyes and leave when our job is done on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
Our Requirements
We ask you to commit yourself to ten incredible days arriving Sunday evening on the 13th July and finishing Wednesday evening on the 23th July.
Enviro-Mental volunteers need to be in good physical health. The activities may involve lots of bending, lifting and walking, often energetically, and often carrying heavy bags.
