Ticket Office

Greetings and thank you for clicking here. Please read on to see if you would like to volunteer in the ticket office at the entrance to the festival for Buddhafield 2024.

This year, the festival days are from the 17th to the 21st July. We are looking for people to work in either of two roles as follows:

  • Become part of the Buddhafield Family and immerse yourself by arriving on site to start work at midday on Sunday 14th July. This a supervisor role and requires 30 hours in total from Sunday, 14th until Saturday, 20th July 2024.
  • Alternatively, come and join one of the teams checking people in as they arrive from Wednesday, 17th July, until Saturday, 20th July 2024. You will work for 20 hours in total.

The ticket office does not open on Sunday 21st July.

You can apply to either of these teams through this page.

Ticket Office Supervisor role: 14th July to 20th July (inc)

From Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th, you will be checking-in the crew who are already on site setting up the Festival and familiarising yourselves with the processes and key people.

From Wednesday to Saturday, when the gate opens, you will be supervising the check-in team, dealing with any queries that cannot be resolved by them, such as names/tickets not on the lists, escalations, liaising with other departments and working closely with the production office and IT team.

You will not be directing traffic or answering miscellaneous questions - other teams (Stewards and Production Office) will handle anything that’s outside of the ticket office responsibilities.

There are some twilight shifts and you will often be working during meal times (food will be brought to you).

You will receive full catering from Sunday 14th to Sunday 21st.

We ask you to come and live on-site with us in your vehicle or tent, or under your tarp and bring your energy, willingness and skills.

You must be:

  • Eighteen or over
  • Calm and approachable
  • Openhearted with an enthusiastic approach
  • Comfortable using technology and handling money
  • Be friendly, and willing to help people!
  • Previous customer-facing experience is preferable.

Most people find Buddhafield volunteering a very enjoyable experience. However, by offering to help in this way you will be taking on a job which may be quite busy and demanding at times, so please consider this before applying.

Applications will close on 10th April. We will start processing applications from that date. We won't be able to comment on the progress of your application until after then, so please be patient. You can log in to your eventree account anytime to view your application details. We will contact you to offer you a slot or to let you know you have been unsuccessful.

If we receive a high volume of applications, we may close submissions early, so please apply straight away for the best chance to be considered.
