When we think we know who we are, we are limiting ourselves.
Letting a sense of awe arise enables us to experience how the universe is full of
wonders. Faced with the unknown, we can loosen our resistance and be wholly alive
and receptive to whatever comes.
When the worldly winds of pleasure and pain blow, can we find our point of balance?
Can we let them flow through us and respond with kind awareness?
As when a young barn owl spreads her white wings, yielding to the night air for the
first time, we must ride the winds with arms wide open.
