From Jonathan Brown; award winning Artistic Director of Something Underground Theatre Co. Spiced with improvised leaps into the unknown, Jonathan will be regaling us with tales the likes of Seal Bride, Talking Eggs, Chatterbox, and Iron John.

The Lost Cabaret
All the way from London, an evening of outrageous comedy cabaret to open your festival with non-stop hilarious fun. One of the weirdest and most-alternative shows you are likely to see, full of clowns, characters, music and more. Lost cabaret perform Monthly in Stockwell, have an award winning web-series, and regularly tour the UK festival circuit (with a special softspot for Buddhafield) - a show you won't ever forget... Go on... Get lost!

Milky Moon
Absorb the minds and hearts of fellow humans, with this milky mash of moon creatures and sunbeams, a colourful group of fluff munchkins gathered in pursuit of inspiration, expression and beauty. The Milky Moon Busking Matinee is a regular event in Bristol with performance opportunities for novices, crackerjacks and any other bizarre acts to take to the silky stage and enjoy each other’s company with hearty food, music, spoken word, art, and anything else that pops up!

‘Performances of the works of Jelaluddin Rumi, the 13C Gnostic Sufi Master, Poet, and Awakened Heart’
From Duncan Mackintosh, a presence worker and storyteller with a particular focus on Spiritual awakening, who is committed to opening spaces where the human soul can awaken to and unfold its True Nature as Love. “If you ever want to be reminded what it is to live and to love and you hear of this man performing this poetry – run there! ” Isabel Losada, Author of ‘For Tibet, With Love’ And ‘The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment’

Maggy Whitehouse
Comedian, Independent Catholic Priest, Sunday Morning Faith presenter on BBC Radio Devon, scholar and author of more than a dozen books on Bible mysticism and metaphysics; Maggy was a finalist in the 2016 Bath New Comedy Award, 2015 UK Funny Women Awards, and South West Stand Up for Cider competition. Her work includes work is inclusive of Angellic, Kabbalah, and Feminine Wisdom,and the Law of Attraction, and she believes the true job of a priest is to connect people with their own inner joy and love of life…

Saturday Night

The HIp Yak Poetry Shack
A hugely entertaining, hand-made, poetry, comedy cabaret, starring the finest talent from the UK performance poetry and stand-up poetry scene - With Poetry from Liv Torc and Chris Redmond as well as a reappearance by last year’s Word Up! Ticket-winning Slam Champion; Dean Skinner. Followed by a stonking 1hour loop-pedal set by the legendary Buddhafield favourite; Pete the Temp

Liv Torc
A razor blade skating performance poet, who plunges the vast caverns and dormant volcanoes of the human condition, armed with a box of matches and a sense of lyrical wonder. She was South West winner of the National Radio 4 Poetry Slam, the second ever Bard of Exeter and the poet in residence at Exeter’s first ever Poetry Festival.

Chris Redmond
A poet, musician, genuine funnyman and host of London’s Tongue Fu; (Scroobius Pip’s Beatdown XFM; Pick Of The Week - BBC R4). His whacky lyrical agility has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 2, CBBC and Sky Arts, and his debut collection Let The Pig Out is published by Burning Eye.

Pete the Temp
An acclaimed loop artist, poet, and former UK National Poetry Slam Champion, who has been featured on BBC TV, Radio 4, TED talks, and internationally. As well as a huge number of festival appearances, he has toured a one man show [‘Pete (the Temp) vs Climate Change’], as well as with Slamboree rave orchestra circus, and has a book called Numbered Boxes.
